Before we dive into the history of our lightshow, this is our latest and greatest lightshow!

Our Lightshow History!
This hobby started out for us as just a small lightshow consisting of a single mega tree in our yard. But as you'd expect, we quickly began adding as the years went by.
Our very first lightshow!
This was our first lightshow in 2020, a simple mega tree, a simple but good start!
Our 2021 Lightshow.
This was our first actual lightshow, with many more pixels and a different layout, as we had moved houses that year.
Our 2022 Lightshow.
New for the year is the grand illusion (on the window) and two flakes by our hall entry.
Our 2023 Lightshow.
With a whole new mega tree, a treeline consisting of 18 mini trees, moving heads and a ton of other brand new additions, we had a completely different lightshow!
2023 was definitely when the lightshow started to become a pain to set up and take down, but its always worth it. This was also our first year doing a 100% custom mashup.
Our 2024 Lightshow.
Down one mega tree, and up with a new one! This year we added a giant 20ft mega tree!, an animatronic snowman (deactivated in this video, but works great in our 2025 video.) and a giant window matrix.
We did make some adjustments, though. We switched out our pex tubing arches for coro arches, as they are much easier to store and secure into the ground.

While no new pixels have been added, we did upgrade our moving heads to 350w mini moving heads. Not only that, we mounted them to our roof, using a DIY wood stand.
Unlike last years video, our animatronic snowman - Frosty Beats is on and sings along to songs in the mashup, and at the end of every song, he lifts his disk and switches the song!
